Exoticism Koh Samui in Surat Thani

Koh Samui in Surat Thani province which has an area of 247 square kilometers is the main tourist island in Surat Thani. Located 258 nautical miles south Bangkok, and approximately 84 kilometers east of the provincial capital, Koh Samui has the widest measure of 21 kilometers, and the longest 25 miles. kohsamui-hatchaweng1Memiliki ring road along the coast 51 kilometers and most of the surrounding islands, Koh Samui has many beaches and beautiful bay, and almost literally called the island of coconuts and the hills are forested.
Line of Samui’s best beaches are in northern and eastern peninsula, the most popular are Hat Chaweng and Hat Lamai, where generally attractive accommodation can be found uniquely. Other beaches include Hat Choeng Mon, Hat Mae Nam in the north and Hat Na Thon, the main island on the seafront where there are settlements along with shops, restaurants and tour agencies are concentrated.
At the South end of Lamai Bay are rock formations called Hin Ta Hin Yai. A road connects the three waterfalls, called Namtok Hin Lat, Namtok Lat Wanon, and Namtok Na Muang, which kohsamuiphra_yaiberada from the West to the South. The best time to visit this waterfall is during the rainy season. Elephant ride was interesting activities in the Na Muang waterfall.
There are some Buddhist monuments and temples on Koh Samui: Phra Yai, a large Buddha statue sits in the island Fan; Phrathat Hin Ngu, a stupa containing relics of Buddha. There is also Chedi Laem So, a golden stupa on the western coast, and the house where lies Khunaram Wat Luang Pho Daeng bodies that do not decompose.
