Sunway Lagoon Theme Park is an outdoor playground in Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur. One of the theme park that I visited when it was the water park. For those who’ve been to water parks in Jakarta, such as Water Boom or water park in Ancol would not be familiar with the atmosphere at the water park is Sunway Lagoon. The area around Sunway Lagoon is also an Indonesian student area, no wonder if in some mall Sunway Lagoon many restaurants scattered Indonesia.

I came to Sunway Lagoon about day three after Lebaran in the year 2008. I think the Lebaran day entertainment venues in Kuala Lumpur would not seramai as in Jakarta. Apparently I missed expectations, this place is like cendol, tourists from many countries, particularly countries Middle East and Indonesia numplek all together. Almost in every place at Sunway Lagoon I hear people speak with accent Jakarta. I feel like at Ancol and not in Kuala Lumpur, beneran!

Unfortunately I was right there was some entertainment facilities being renovated, so I can not try some of the attractions at the water park. A fairly interesting place for me is the artificial beach where people can play the surf and sand play, and there is also a place where we can surf with artificial waves. Maybe because I’m used to go to taman2 water in Jakarta, Sunway Lagoon is a taste less gregetnya. Malaysia is just my opinion promote good at, perhaps because of his many Chinese people, well, smart sales?

Actually here is not only a water park, but there are also some other theme park such as extreme park, scream park, wildlife park and amusement park as Dufan but the mini version. You can choose whichever park you want to visit the ticket counter. Here also there is a large shopping mall called Sunway Pyramid, this mall there are Sphinx in front of him and also connect to the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park. If you are married and have several small children, Sunway Lagoon is a fairly fun place for them. But if you are single fighter, just deh should skip this place.

According to one reader jalan2kl, to go to Sunway Lagoon from Kuala Lumpur is the cheapest is to use the KTM train commuting. So you go to KL Sentral station in advance, or search the train station passed by KTM train commuting, then you stop at the Subang Jaya station. From there you can use a taxi or if you want even cheaper to use the bus to the Sunway. If you want to be bothered enggak taxi directly from Kuala Lumpur is also able, you just have to spend more.
