Sell Gift Shop in Complex Kraf (Craft Complex)
Travel to Malaysia December 15th, 2009
Kompleks Budaya Kraf is one place in Kuala Lumpur for shopping and learning about the paraphernalia of art / culture such as Malaysia, sarongs, batik, painting and various kinds of handicraft. If possible place in Jakarta this can be equated with Sarinah Thamrin 4th floor, but it felt better in Sarinah Thamrin deh things.
Kraf Complex is located in the golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Bintang, so if you live around Bukit Bintang would not hurt to stop by here. The few things that you can see here include:
Craft Museum
In this museum you can see Malaysia’s cultural history by using the diorama as a medium. Here you can also see the traditional tools used to produce art works of Malaysia.
Craft Shops
Here are also several souvenir shops that provide a variety of handicrafts, batik, songket and various souvenirs.
Endowments
Place of origin Kelantan traditional perisitirahatan similar houses on stilts and made of wood.
Craft Village
Here you can learn directly about procedures such as handicraft making how to make batik and ceramics. Here children can learn to paint at a cost of about RM50.
Artists Colony
The basic concept of this place like home, and also a place where local artists show work and their skill in creating works of art.
For me personally if you want to search for art goods cheaper in Kuala Lumpur you should go to Central Market only, where I think the price is cheaper than in Kraf Complex. Kraf complex may be more directed to the upper market or northern tourists are not there a problem out of his pocket dollars.
Kraf Complex, located at Jalan Conlay will be more easily reached by taxi, or if your foot hobby can use the monorail train and stop at Bukit Bintang, from where you live on foot about 20 minutes.
