Bukit Bintang (or Bintang Hill) is a shopping and entertainment district in Kuala Lumpur, and the main street of this area, Jalan Bukit Bintang. Area is filled with shopping centers, cafes, clubs, shops, and malls. This area is very popular among local tourists and especially the younger generation
Location
Bukit Bintang is located between the three main roads: Bukit Bintang streetstarts from Pudu street and intersects with Sultan Ismail street. The area is bounded by Jalan Raja Chulan on Jalan Imbi north and south. There are many hotels and restaurants are located in this area, as well as the restaurants or fine dining, a place that provides cheap meals, usually located in open places.
Bintang Walk
Bintang Walk is located along Jalan Bukit Bintang is a shopping area / shopping. This place has been much improved and changed during the last 5 years become one of the paradise for the shopaholic. Cafes, restaurants, clubs, shops, malls, and many more entertainment venues to meet this way. On weekends, thousands of local people and foreign tourists will fill this area and the Star Walk shopping center in this dearah be in full swing. Almost every major event will be celebrated here this evening like New Year’s Countdown, other festivals and fashion shows, street concerts and street parties.

Bukit Bintang is one of the shopping center that offers a variety of goods, adjusted oleh-oleh/souvernir tastes and your budget. Major shopping centers in the city of Kuala Lumpur, usually located on this site, including Berjaya Times Square, Bukit Bintang Plaza, Imbi Plaza, Kuala Lumpur Plaza, Low Yat Plaza, Starhill Gallery, Sungei Wang Plaza, Lot 10 and the newly opened Pavilion KL.
Imbi is a commercial area located near the Bukit Bintang area and became a popular resort for tourists, this area will be very busy during holidays and peak holidays. Berjaya Times Square is one of the shopping center and hotel located in Imbi.
Food (Jalan Alor)
You’ll find lots of eating places along Jalan Alor, the way it was designed to facilitate the food vendors with a local flavor from China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and even mix them. Located on the right path Bukit Bintang, Jalan Alor is very popular with the delicious local dishes, traditionally served with the open atmosphere, with chairs and tables arranged along the edge of the road. Common in Indonesia if we call a place to eat pavement. Malaysia is always not to be outdone by Singapore. Singapore has LRT train (Light Rapid Transit), Malaysia also made LRT, Singapore has Orchard Road, Malaysia also made Bukit Bintang. Anyway, Malaysia did not want to lose to Singapore. Good thing’s healthy competition, so we-we as tourists will increasingly.
Bukit Bintang is located in the golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur’s strategic location as close to the Petronas Towers and KLCC shopping center also with tourists like China Town and Central Market. I’m here to try to cover some fairly popular mall in Bukit Bintang area of which is Sungei Wang, Low Yat Plaza, Berjaya Times Square and Lot 10. Actually there are two malls, but less popular, namely BB Mall and Imbi Plaza. There is also a new mall, but I’ve written before, The Pavilion, located at around Bukit Bintang, too.
