This Maggellan landing at the same time as the initial milestone of the Spanish colony in the Philippines, so many old buildings such as churches and relics of the Spanish fort. So incomplete that it did not tour the old city during a visit to Cebu. Thus, the cross on display today is a replica of the cross, because the original cross to stay small pieces of wood that is now planted in the replica. A few steps from the Cross Church of St. Maggellan standing Nino (Basilica Minore del Sto Nino) established another sailor from Spain Miguel López de Legazpi in 1565. Inside the church there is a wooden puppet Santo Nino (the infant Jesus) which is a gift from King Maggellan to Humabonon wife, Queen Juana, who became a Catholic. Catholic visitors from all over the Philippines to come to this church to pray before the statue of Santo Nino. Every Sunday, the Catholic Church also came to attend mass held in the large churchyard. Miguel López de Legazpi also founded Fort San Pedro in the same year, 1565. Cebu – Philippines If tercetus name, for which Indonesia may direct thought is Manila, which is similar Jakarta. But, not interesting for a tourist destination. Try, liriklah Cebu. Your impression, not just Manila Philippines. As Miss Philiphine during the Miss Universe pageant last year, by 7107 the island when the sea receded and the island in 7100 when tide, the Philippines offers a variety of alternative tourism attracted both tourism history, culture, natural attractions and complete enough water. Island of Cebu and Bohol Island is located south of Manila. “People Indonesia are rare here, far more tourists from Europe, Japan and Korea, even some time ago a group of Russian tourists had come straight over here to rent a plane,” said Myra, one of the local tour guide who accompanied the journalists as a group a visit to Cebu last weekend. This trip to Cebu as part of product launches ABN Amro, said earlier this week. To get to Cebu, it takes approximately 4 hours flight from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to Manila and continued with domestic flights for about an hour or can be via ferry from Manila to Cebu which takes 19-22 hours. Drowsiness that attack because the early morning flight from Jakarta to Manila direct flight disappeared from Manila to Cebu. From the plane window, see the blue expanse of the island and the sea turns. Shades of the sea presents a dazzling blue for coastal islands each region are generally decorated with extensive coral reefs are shallow blue-brown. Some look like a road connecting inter scattered. “If it falls, people usually use to cross the shallow reef between islands, most only stay a few meters that require people to swim,” said Myra. Outskirts of the shallow coral reefs were then lined with dark blue deep ocean. Some of the Philippine Sea region is deep enough that it is often crossed by a whale. Landscape land area was no less miraculous. When the plane passed over the island of Bohol, seen thousands of green hills like skup known ice cream named after the hill brown (chocolate hills), because the color changed to brown during the dry season. That we were riding the plane finally landed at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport around noon. Actually, the airport is located on Mactan Island, the island was connected to Cebu Island by two bridges of Mactan-Mandaue Bridge, 864 meters long and B Marcelo Fernan Bridge, also known as the Mactan-Mandaue Bridge II along 882 meters. The boats with medium size can pass under the bridge so that the view from the top one is a beautiful bridge at night time with lights from other bridges and light vessels passing.
"Mystery" China Rich Cemetery in Manila

When it comes to size, the tomb of China in general consuming more land than the non-China. How not? aja follow-up treasure in the tomb. The graves of the descendants of China rich in Manila reportedly recorded in “Ripley’s Believe it or Not”. This is what makes me so curious. LP mentioned in the book, this location close to the LRT station (train overpass) Abad Santos. But in the map attached at the point LRT station wagon R is the nearest Papa. While officials at the LRT ticket counter I asked told me that I should get off at the station Bluementritt. Information that makes confused and misleading, I finally just follow the instructions in the car and I fell in R Papa.
Apparently no one, because a few hundred yards after leaving the station, I saw the 2nd entrance gate is locked in a state funeral. While the wall 3 meters high wall surrounding the cemetery complex. I try to surround the tomb complex from the outside to look for another door in the hope that there are open, but no avail.
As an illustration, the majority of the tomb of China who is here is more similar to houses in elite residential complex. There is shaped Europe, China, to Art Deco. Some are equipped with air conditioning, furniture, electronics, bedroom, and even a post office box on the fence “home”. But make no mistake, in the “House” it is grave. The family owners of the luxury building it is for the pilgrimage. Ahhh … .. unfortunately, until now remained a ‘mystery’ because I can only see it from the LRT station.
Mabuhay Manila

Manila, as the metropolis not much different with Jakarta. Pollution, traffic, homeless, crime and other social problems is the mirror of a major city in the developing world in general. One time I took a bus across town, on the bus a little girl handing out a packet of sweets to each passenger, I think this is a free snacks for passengers, but the sweets wrapped in paper stuck to the contents of which appeal to passengers to buy sweets to help defray living the little girl who dropped out of school.
Every passing pengerah offices of labor, I always see long queues of people who took a job application folder, hoping to be accepted overseas employment. Understandably, the Philippines also compete with our country in terms of labor export.
Several times to read reviews from the Internet about the journey of the backpackers, many mention the legendary crime in the city of Manila. Perhaps because of the high crime rate, level guards minimarket had a gun in the waist. But every place is different, certainly interesting to watch.
Manila Bay Sunset

Roxas Boulevard is one way the protocol in Manila City. Very strategic location, at the edge of the bay (Manila Bay). Along the way the measure is narrower than Jalan MH. Thamrin was standing important buildings such as government offices, an international network of hotels, as well as the United States embassy was heavily guarded by soldiers.
Like the way protocols in general, vehicle traffic is very dense, especially at rush hour. All types of vehicles passing freely here. At traffic lights, I saw Delman in traffic queues. When the light turned green, the vehicle in front of him began to move and accelerate the speed. Delman remained silent not moving. It turned out that another horse urine. Another vehicle was waiting patiently behind. Policeman who was standing not far from the wagon was averted even with the nose cap.
As a public space, Manila bay for a comfortable place to spend time in the afternoon. Pedestrian areas in the milling people who were jogging, biking, roller skating, or could also simply relax in the tent cafes facing toward the bay, watching the sun set. Cafes which held that there was “Live Music” after dusk.
The atmosphere was very festive evening. As I occasionally see the sunset at the bay, I witnessed the appearance of dancers and local bands on a stage entertainment across the street that was held to welcome the victory of Manny Pacquiao, a Filipino boxer who just obtained his featherweight world champion in Las Vegas.
